Volunteers Needed!

The Fox Hill Nature Preserve prairie needs some TLC. Can you help? Meet “Mary on the Prairie” – Mary Krueger – on Tuesday, August 30 at the Klingler Memorial parking lot on County Hwy NN at 5:00 pm. We’ll work until 6:30.  Water and light snacks will be provided.

The focus of this Tuesday’s work will be:

-Snipping the heads off of agrimony plants and bagging the seeds.
-Doing an informal inventory of prairie plants. (Volunteers should bring their prairie plant lD guides if they have them).
-Taking a look at the many beautiful mushrooms in the woods adjacent to the prairie.
