Prairie Walk, Talk & Work Day on Tuesday, August 8 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Gary Britton, CLCF Board Member and Prairie Plant Hobbyist, to speak

The Fox Hill Prairie, planted in 1999, is part of the larger Fox Hill property. You’re invited to join us as we learn about prairie plants with CLCF Board Member Gary Britton (who has identified approximately 125 native species of prairie and woodland plants on his own property) and work together to remove invasive species at Fox Hill. This second summer work day will be Tuesday, August 8 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. We will meet at the parking pull-out on the east side of Highway NN, north of Sleeping Dragon Road and across the highway from the north outlet of Timmer Bay Road. Bring gloves and clippers if you have them; some tools will be provided. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended. A light snack and refreshments will also be provided. To RSVP or for more information, email askclcf@clcf.info or call Lee Krueger at (262)338-0539.
