Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon
For the second year in a row, CLCF and SEWISC (Southeastern Wisconsin Invasive Species Consortium) will be pulling together to protect our woodlands in a Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon.
Join us Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. to pull and bag invasive Garlic Mustard plants.
We’ll be working on the Joan M. Pick Nature Preserve at 5975 County Road Z in West Bend. Please park at 5965 County Road Z, one driveway to the south.
The Pull-A-Thon is a competition, a fundraiser, and a way for people to join together to have a positive impact on their environment. Our natural areas need your help to avoid the damage that invasive species cause!
2019 Pull-A-Thon Teams are forming throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. A trophy and bragging rights will be awarded to the team that pulls the most garlic mustard/dame’s rocket and pulls in the most donations.
