CLCF Closes on a 49.2 acre Conservation Easement

On March 18, 2020, Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation closed on a 49.2 acre conservation easement with Joe and Laura Mantoan of Sauve Terre Farm. Since 2004, CLCF and the Mantoan family have permanently protected 96 acres west of Gilbert Lake.

This brings CLCF’s total acres protected through fee simple transactions, conservation easements and alternative preservation to 2,469. We hope to be north of 2,500 acres soon!
